After her brother was in a tragic workplace accident Melanie pursued a career in Safety. Certified in Occupational Health and Safety; Melanie has over 12 years safety experience in many different workplace sectors.
Our trainers at ColonyGuard Safety are specially trained to understand the unique working environments and cultural practices within Hutterite colonies. Each of our safety instructors goes through comprehensive training focused on:

Our trainers emphasize practical, hands-on instruction. They conduct live demonstrations and real-time safety checks, making the learning experience more relevant and directly applicable to colony farm operations.

Recognizing that Hutterite Colonies are often involved in a wide range of activities—from agriculture and livestock handling to construction and manufacturing—our trainers adapt their courses to address the specific working hazards present in each colony.

Trainers are educated on Hutterite values, customs, and the importance of community life. They understand how the communal farming and work structures differ from conventional farms, ensuring they approach safety training with respect for traditions.
